Illuminati is a light bulb manufacturer created for a light bulb series project. The logo plays off of popular Illuminati imagery as well as Plato’s allegory of the cave through the emphasis of shadow to hint at a narrative about enlightenment to go beyond the idea of plain light.
The packaging is specifically for the manufacturer’s “Delight” blacklight series and uses illustrations that are evocative of 1960s blacklight posters to tie the presentation of the product to its history and connection to pop culture.
